This directive came in a statement issued by the State Commander, Commander (Dr.) Soji Ganzallo, through the Corps’ Director of Information and Public Relations, ACC Moruf Yusuf.
Tactical squads are stationed at worship centers across the state. In partnership with the Nigeria Police Force, So-Safe personnel also carry out routine patrols to maintain law and order throughout the Easter period.
Ganzallo warned residents against traveling at night and stressed the need to inspect vehicles before setting out. Criminals, he noted, often exploit breakdowns and isolated commuters during festive seasons. Staying alert and taking preventive steps, he said, is key to enhancing easter security in Ogun State.

He also extended warm Easter wishes to Christian faithful in Ogun and beyond. While reminding citizens of Christβs message of peace and love, he emphasized the importance of embodying those values in everyday life. Celebrations, he added, should center around giving and unity.
