The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) has arrested three suspects involved in grave robbery and ritual activities in Ipokia, Ogun State.
This was disclosed by the State Commander, (Dr.) Soji Ganzallo, in a statement released by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Assistant Commander Adegunwa Adegbuyi.
Ganzallo explained that at about 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, the Anti-Arms Smuggling Unit and the Ipokia Area Command received intelligence about individuals in possession of a human skull at Isale Odo, Ibatefin.
Led by ACC Abdulkareem Abdulrazak and ACC Aliyu Yusuf, the team moved to the location without delay. Upon arrival, officers found three male suspects: Alabi Taiwo, Kasimu Amuda, and Adisa Joshua, with a human skull, white cloths, and a cross fixed to a casket.

During interrogation, Alabi Taiwo confessed that he dug up the grave of a woman buried near his house on July 28, 2025. He said he took the skull to herbalist Adisa Joshua, intending to sell it to the third suspect, Kasimu Amuda. Kasimu admitted they had engaged in the crime for some time and usually paid Fifty Thousand Naira (#50,000) per skull.
Kasimu also identified an accomplice named Hamed, a resident of Badagry, Lagos State, who is currently at large.
Ganzallo confirmed that the suspects have been transferred to the Nigeria Police, Idiroko Area Command, for investigation and possible prosecution.
He commended the officers for their swift action and thanked the community for its trust. He added that the Corps remains committed to using every available resource to keep Ogun State safe.
