The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) has arrested two suspected burglars in Idiroko, Ogun State. The arrest led to the recovery of several stolen items during a routine patrol operation.
This was revealed in a press statement issued by the State Commander, (Dr.) Soji Ganzallo, through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf.

Commander Ganzallo explained that officers of the Corps, in collaboration with the Idiroko Police Division, were on patrol on May 7, 2025, around 2:00 a.m., when they noticed suspicious movement in the Aferiku area of Idiroko.
“Two young men, Daniel Olaitan Enitan (24) and Adetona Sodeeq (23), were spotted carrying large school bags and behaving suspiciously.
When the patrol team approached, the suspects attempted to flee but were quickly apprehended. A search revealed their bags were filled with clothes, shoes, and various other personal items suspected to be stolen.”
After interrogation, the suspects confessed to breaking into five different shops, including one located beside Ikolaje Primary School along the border road.

- One power bank
- One hammer
- One singlet
- Two large school bags
- Two crossbody bags
- One pack of 3-in-1 boxers
- Six pairs of boxers
- Six polo shirts
- Four pairs of jeans trousers
- Three pairs of Crocs
- Eight pairs of palm sandals
Commander Ganzallo confirmed that both suspects and the recovered exhibits have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Idiroko Divisional Headquarters, for further investigation and potential prosecution.

He emphasized that the So-Safe Corps nabbed the suspected burglars in Idiroko as part of its broader commitment to community policing.
“We will not relent in our duty to secure every corner of Ogun State. Criminal elements, regardless of their tactics, will be caught.”
