The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) has arrested a suspected cultist in Ogbo, Ijagun, Ogun State.

The arrest was disclosed in a press statement issued by the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr.) Soji Ganzallo, and released to the public by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Assistant Commander Adegunwa Adegbuyi.

The Corps apprehended Abiola Sunday, a 25-year-old Imosan resident, after months of sustained surveillance. Commander Ganzallo explained that the suspect had previously escaped arrest, prompting the Corps to place him under monitoring.

Commander Ganzallo revealed that the suspect is a former student of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, Ijagun. He described him as a member of the Aiye Confraternity within the Ogbo–Ijagun axis, where he terrorized residents.

The State Commander confirmed that the suspected cultist has been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Igbeba Area Command, Ijebu-Ode, for further investigation and possible prosecution.

He reassured residents of the Corps’ commitment to protecting lives and property through collaboration with sister security agencies.
