The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) has arrested a 45-year-old man, Mr. Diya Agboola, for the alleged rape of a 30-year-old woman in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr.) Soji Ganzallo, and released to the press through the Director of Information and Public Relations, ACC Adegunwa Adegbuyi.
Commander Ganzallo said the Corps’ Oke-Paata Division team, led by SC Ikusegbagbe Abayomi, was on patrol in Ososun town around noon on October 27, 2025. The officers noticed the suspect and his victim arguing as they emerged from an uncompleted building. The patrol team immediately intervened.

During preliminary interrogation, Agboola, who resides at Ilupeju Elepo, Oja, Lagos State, confessed to the rape crime. A nearby hospital quickly examined the victim and confirmed the assault.
Ganzallo also said the police at Ifo Divisional Headquarters now have custody of the suspect and victim for investigation.
He further reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to keeping Ogun State safe by tirelessly pursuing all individuals involved in crimes.
